Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will handle multiple media-driven projects across various platforms, acting as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams. You will work closely with the Account Director to ensure the seamless execution of campaigns, maintain client satisfaction, and help grow our client accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day client relationships and communication, ensuring their needs were met and expectations were exceeded.
- Coordinate and oversee multiple advertising and media projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Support the Account Director in strategy development, campaign planning, and client presentations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, media, and production, to ensure campaign deliverables align with client objectives.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in developing and maintaining strong client relationships, attending meetings, and participating in new business pitches.
- Handle administrative tasks such as preparing briefs, updating project trackers, and managing budgets.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in an account executive role, preferably within an advertising or media agency. Spanish bicultural, preferred.
- Strong understanding of media channels, including digital, print, and broadcast.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
- Familiarity with project management tools.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) or equivalent, Google Workspace.

The Opportunity
As we grow, we are seeking a seasoned Managing Director to be the strategic and people-centered leader who drives the agency forward – a big picture thinker who can roll up their sleeves and turn vision into reality. You will fuel growth by providing strategic client leadership at the highest level, mentoring multi-functional and multi-level teams, and ensuring best-in class deliverables and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a proven track record and entrepreneurial drive, and is passionate about taking a growing agency to the next level while developing the next generation of leaders.
You will partner closely with the Founder & CEO to co lead the agency – providing executive oversight for all client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery, and fostering trust and long-term partnerships that drive growth. You will also provide day-to-day leadership over agency operations, e.g., team development, scope delivery, and P&L management, and support internal workflow optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Champion Client Relationships & Success: Be the trusted voice for senior stakeholders, providing strategic counsel and visionary leadership to elevate every project.
- Fuel Revenue Growth: Identify and pursue organic growth opportunities within existing client portfolios, and partner with fellow executive team members to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Inspire and Lead: Provide strong leadership and mentorship to agency teams, cultivating a strategically oriented, high-performing culture that values innovation, accountability, performance, and adherence to operational best practices.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the efficient and effective delivery of client work, ensuring projects are on strategy, on time, within budget, and deliver on the SOW, while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Business Health: Collaborate with CEO and operational leads to monitor KPIs, business margins, scope negotiations, client satisfaction, employee reviews and staffing needs.
- Culture & Values: Partner with fellow executive team members to pave the agency’s strategic roadmap in a manner that reinforces Purple Group’s values of integrity, innovation, creativity, passion, and excellence; it’s collaborative, culturally-sensitive, work-family culture; and its commitment to making a positive impact in the world.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred, or equivalent
experience - A minimum of 15 – 20+ years of progressive leadership experience within advertising agencies, client-side marketing teams, and/or strategic and creative marcom consulting agencies.
- Visionary leadership skills – You’ve led cross functional teams with clarity, compassion and accountability, and bring structure and foresight to getting things done effectively and efficiently. Mentoring comes naturally to you, and you know when to roll up your sleeves and when to empower others. You handle chaos calmly and inspire others to stay focused and on mission.
- Experience managing client relationships at a senior level, serving as a trusted partner who’s strategic POV is valued and sought after.
- A proven track record in growth – successfully expanding business, winning new accounts and generating lasting results.
- Strong financial and business acumen with experience managing P&Ls and resource allocation.
- A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with a passion for driving innovation and continuous improvement.

- Experience in a multicultural or mission-driven agency environment
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus, but not required
